If you were to lift your leg straight up, you would notice at the point where hip meets femur(leg) there is an opening g and closing occurring. This is what we refer to as the qua.

Tai Chi Chuan is a
multi-faceted practice.
Studies have shown Tai Chi Chuan to be effective in relieving stress as well as relieving symptoms of multiple diseases, including high blood pressure, Parkinson's Disease, arthritis and diabetes.
Tai Chi Chuan also can be used for healing others and for self-defense.
